Es el taller de manualidades impulsado por la sucursal Talca del INP y que más allá de enseñar el arte de la decoración, les ha brindado a estas mujeres la oportunidad de compartir, de olvidar soledades e inyectar alegría a sus vidas.
“Me gustan las manualidades y me entretengo, el taller me permite salir de las labores de la casa y distraerme, porque quedé viuda y he cruzado por una larga enfermedad, estar aquí es una hermosa experiencia”, afirma Lucía Lara, de 69 años.A su lado, con 81 años y llena de vitalidad, María Inés Salas, declara haber encontrado en el taller una oportunidad para salir de su soledad, “me siento acompañada y uno se entretiene, yo estoy trabajando en una bandeja para mí, porque tengo una pero no con manillas”, comenta.
Con 73 años, Emma Bravo, también asiste en busca de compañía. “Me gusta compartir con las personas, no soy muy adicta a las manualidades, me cuesta, pero hay que hacerle empeño, porque el taller nos sirve para relajarnos y estar en contacto con otras personas”.
Así y lideradas por Amalia Torres, de 77 años, las integrantes de este club de la Villa Rembrant, han descubierto un espacio para el aprendizaje y la participación. “La experiencia es para todas enriquecedora y se agradece, porque uno aprende, comparte y se proyecta. Ahora pretendemos hacer una exposición de nuestros trabajos a fin de año, para que otros adultos mayores también se entusiasmen” resume la presidenta.
