Mañana, a las 15 horas, en el Campus San Miguel de la Universidad Católica del Maule, comienza el evento deportivo que reunirá a un centenar de gimnastas universitarios de todo el país.

A cargo de la organización, Julia Pérez, indicó que ha existido un arduo trabajo, desde hace meses, ya que es necesario ajustar muchos detalles, debiendo preocuparse de la totalidad de éstos, para que los deportistas se encarguen sólo de lo que tienen que hacer, que es entrenar y rendir.
Se espera la llegada de las principales selecciones pertenecientes a las Universidades del Consejo de Rectores, además otros planteles invitados que participarán en el programa, sólo con presentaciones de exhibición.Las delegaciones arribarán a la ciudad hoy, para comenzar al día siguiente, desde las 10 hrs., con la marcación del cuadro de competencia y luego sostener la reunión técnica correspondiente. La jornada inaugural y el juramento de los deportistas se llevarán a cabo, a las 12 hrs., para comenzar la competencia a las 15 horas.
Las pruebas en disputa para la modalidad universitaria serán grupos fitness, individual damas, duplas, individual varones, tríos, grupos GAD y grupos step. La ceremonia de clausura está prevista para las 19 horas.
La entrada al público es liberada.
