A raíz de la nota que publiqué la semana pasada sobre cómo seguir los comentarios de un sitio de mánera fácil y rápida, uno de nuestros lectores, Ricardo, preguntó que son los RSS y para qué servían.
Los RSS son un tipo de formato que se utiliza para poder difundir los contenidos de un sitio web a los suscriptores.
Este tipo de formato permite al usuario enterarse de los contenidos de un determinado sitio sin necesidad de acceder a él a través de un navegador, pues lo debe hacer a través de un programa o herramienta que soporte este formato.
Gracias a este tipo de programas que nos permiten leer los formatos RSS es que podemos tener actualizados en una sóla aplicación todos los sitios que queramos y las veces al día que éstos estén actualizados.
Hace un tiempo ya, un amigo me pidió que le hiciera una especie de manual para explicar los RSS de manera fácil y sencilla, y la verdad es que encontré este video que postié para que él pudiera llegar a verlo y que ahora comparto con ustedes.
Ojalá que les sirva a todos, en especial a Ricardo que fue quien preguntó por él.
