Medición semanal de ODEPA modificó su canasta de productos para reflejar de mejor forma el consumo asociado al cambio de temporada.

Los tomates, las zanahorias y las peras fuero los productos que presentaron las mayores bajas de precios en ferias y supermercados, para alegría de las dueñas de casa. Por su parte, los productos que experimentaron las mayores alzas fueron las cebollas, los plátanos y limones.
Estos resultados fueron dados a conocer por la Oficina de Estudios y Políticas Agrarias (ODEPA), en cuatro grandes supermercados y ferias libres de Santiago.
Los productos testeados fueron repollo, coliflor, apio, ajo, zapallo italiano, pepino ensalada y tunas, que no estaban considerados inicialmente. Y, debido a la estacionalidad de su producción, fueron sacados de la canasta los duraznos, la sandía, el melón y los porotos granados.
Esta semana, las principales bajas en supermercados se registraron en pera (17%), zanahoria (16%) y papa (16%). En ferias libres, en tanto, fueron los tomates (21%), las peras (17%) y las zanahorias (11%).
En los supermercados, por su parte, se observaron precios más altos en plátanos (7%), naranjas (3%) y pimientos (4%), mientras que en las ferias libres fueron detectados en cebollas (27%), plátanos (22%) y limones (20%).
La medición vuelve a mostrar menores precios en el sector poniente y los mayores en la zona oriente y confirma que las ferias libres tiene menores valores frente a los supermercados.
