En total 12 son las personas que se encuentran albergadas en al colegio Pablo Neruda, para quienes el Departamento Social de la Municipalidad de Parral, inició hoy jueves 22 de mayo, una campaña de recolección de ayuda.
El alcalde de Parral, Israel Urrutia Escobar, quien estuvo en terreno, visitó a los damnificados, señalándoles que “nuestro municipio no los dejará solos… nosotros velaremos por ustedes y por sus familias, recurriremos a todo lo que esté a nuestro alcance para poder sobrepasar este tan amargo trago”. Agregó además que “por ello hacemos un llamado a la comunidad… necesitamos de su ayuda para poder compensar en parte lo perdido por estos damnificados”.
Según Eva Ortega Urrutia, directora del Departamento de Desarrollo Comunitario (DIDECO), lo que más se necesita es ropa de vestir. “queremos comunicarle a los parralinos que necesitamos de su ayuda para colaborar con la gente que más lo necesita… necesitamos ropa de vestir, alimentos no perecibles y frazadas, entre otras cosas…”, señaló la Asistente Social.
Al momento de entregar su ayuda en el colegio, deben comunicarse con la Asistente Social, Natalia Pardo, quien es la encargada de la recolección de ayuda para los damnificados.
La Asistente Social indicó que... "tenemos niños de 2 y 3 años, que son los que más necesitan, les hace falta leche, pañales y ropita. Los adultos mayores que son 3, han tenido la atención de un paremédico que los estuvo controlando."
