Después de organizar junto al Conjunto Folclórico Aquelarre un espectáculo realizado en el Teatro Victoria en ayuda del destacado Folclorista Adrián “Chirigua” González, los Tunos Curicanos se encuentran trabajando junto a los nuevos integrantes- que se han incorporado recientemente a la agrupación- en el nuevo repertorio que incluye pasos dobles, valses, música cubana y versos, los que van a ser presentados en el Encuentro Nacional de Tunas y Estudiantinas en Coquimbo.
De esta manera la Estudiantina Andrés María retoma la participación en el circuito de los Encuentros Nacionales e Internacionales en el país, en los cuales ha demostrado ser una de las mejores agrupaciones de ese género musical.
