El 15,8% de los jóvenes maulinos tenia entre 14 y 17 años al momento de nacer su primer hijo, de acuerdo a los datos otorgados por la quinta Encuesta Nacional de Juventud. Cabe destacar que, bajo este contexto la mayor concentración se genera entre los 18 y los 20 años de edad, con un preocupante 50,2%.
Las cifras que fueron entregadas a la comunidad maulina por el director regional del INJUV-MAULE Claudio Magna Venegas, pretenden sacar a la luz publica la real situación de los jóvenes, “con la entrega de estos datos regionales pretendemos contribuir a la generación de políticas publicas que vayan en directo beneficio de nuestras y nuestros jóvenes maulinos”, puntualizó la primera autoridad regional del INJUV.
El estudio confeccionado por el INJUV revela además que “El 88,1% de los jóvenes Maulinos se encuentra Soltero; mientras que solo el 8,70% esta casado". Al respecto Manga agregó que “el 7,30% de nuestras y nuestros jóvenes esta solo; mientras que el 28,10% esta pololeando, sin duda, esta conducta juvenil muestra los efectos de nuestra sociedad individualista, situación que es reflejada en nuestro estudio ya que solo el 20,70% de los jóvenes maulinos vive con su pareja”.
En este contexto, los jóvenes maulinos hacen una buena evaluación a las relaciones de pareja otorgando nota 7 a las temáticas de vida sexual, fidelidad mutua y demostración de afecto y cariño.
El estudio resalta la vinculación que actualmente tienen los jóvenes con su padres, otorgando nota 7 a las temáticas de “cuanto tiempo pasa contigo (padre y madre), comunicación, demostración de afecto, comprensión y apoyo".
Al respecto el director regional del INJUV se manifestó preocupado por la forma como nuestras y nuestros jóvenes perciben las problemáticas familiares ya que “el 46,70% manifiesta que en los últimos tres meses se han generado problema económicos al interior del núcleo familiar, a esto podemos agregar que el 53,90% de nuestras y nuestros jóvenes maulinos indica como problemática actual la falta de tiempo para compartir en familia”.
