La CEA es presidida por el asesor jurídico del la Gobernación, Roberto Gómez Marchant, y la constituyen los representantes de las Secretarías Regionales Ministeriales de Justicia, Salud, Educación; Injuv; Fuerzas Armadas y de la Dirección General de Movilización Nacional, quienes serán representados por el encargado del Cantón de Reclutamiento, que actuará como secretario.
Según la gobernadora de Talca, María Elena Villagrán, es de especial importancia que los jóvenes que deseen excusarse de realizar el Servicio Militar lo hagan con tiempo, “nos interesa que desde ya puedan hacer las reclamaciones, y que no se junten al fin del periodo. Ya nos pasó el año pasado que llegaron casi todas las excusas en las últimas dos semanas”.
La forma de operar para los jóvenes, explicó la autoridad, es “que se informen en el Cantón de Reclutamiento si es que salieron llamados en las listas para hacer el servicio, luego presentan sus reclamaciones en el mismo cantón y todas ellas se analizan en la comisión y se acogen o se rechazan”.
Villagrán agregó que es importante que las excusas que se presenten sean fundamentadas, es decir, “que los que son padres de familia, presenten el certificado de nacimiento de su hijo o hija; o los que tienen alguna enfermedad deben presentar el certificado médico”.
La CEA sesionará una vez a la semana, hasta el 11 de noviembre. Quienes quieran realizar su reclamación, podrán dirigirse al Cantón de Reclutamiento de Talca en horario de oficina.
