La Orquesta estudiantil JIM JAZZ BAND está integrada por 26 alumnos con edades que fluctúan entre los 10 y 16 años del colegio Juan Ignacio Molina. La orquesta desde el año 2006 está a cargo del director y arreglador musical Pablo Orrego Sepúlveda.
Dentro de las distinciones obtenidas -desde su creación-se encuentran el ganar dos años consecutivos el premio de la mejor banda estudiantil de Chile (2007-2008), entregados por el colegio Granje de las Condes (Santiago). Se agrega a esta premiación el viaje a Colombia en el marco del décimo sexto encuentro Internacional de Bandas realizado en la ciudad de Barrancabermeja, en agosto de 2007.
Los diversos estilos musicales que interpretan JIM JAZZ BAND como el Jazz, el Latin Jazz , Salsa, el Funk, el Rock, el Folclor Nacional y la Nueva Ola, son los temas que podrán ser escuchados hoy en Fital 45 años a contar de las 17 horas, frente al stand 26 del recinto ferial.
