Encuesta: ¿Los Dirigentes Sindicales podrían ser Candidatos a Parlamentarios?

Reforma Constitucional para eliminar artículo que permitiera a los dirigentes sindicales ser candidatos a la Cámara de Diputados o al Senado fue rechazada en el Parlamento. Y según usted ¿sería válido que así fuese?

El recién pasado 1 de abril, una moción en la Cámara de diputados que reformaba la Constitución para permitir que dirigentes sindicales pudieran postularse al Congreso, fue rechazada al no reunir el quórum necesario de 3/5 para ser aprobada (70 votos). La iniciativa recibió 61 votos a favor (Oficialistas e Independientes) y 40 en contra (la Oposición en bloque). De este modo el proyecto de ley fue archivado y no se podrá legislar sobre la misma materia dentro de un año, según lo dispone la Constitución.

En Cámara de Diputados Televisión (CDTV), varios representantes expusieron sus puntos de vista ante este rechazo.
"En todas partes, lo que una sociedad quiere es que el parlamento la represente y todas las medidas que pongan obstáculos a eso no son bienvenidas en una democracia que quiere ser realmente representativa", expresó la vocera de Gobierno Carolina Tohá.
"Esta idea de que los dirigentes sindicales no puedan ser candidatos al parlamento, es una idea profundamente fascista, profundamente antidemocrática y profundamente clasista", señaló el diputado Sergio Aguiló.
"Los trabajadores tomaremos muy en cuenta lo que ha ocurrido, porque demuestra lo que efectivamente muestran y quieren hacer aquellos que se dicen demócratas", indicó Raúl de la Puente, Presidente de la ANEF.
Por su parte, el diputado RN Nicolás Monckeberg detalló que "estamos dispuestos a eliminar hoy día la prohibición que existe en la Constitución, que sí nos parece injusta, que es que en aquellos casos donde el dirigente empresarial, gremial o sindical pierde la elección, él pueda retomar o postular nuevamente al sindicato, eso nos parece justo y een so siempre hemos planteado que estamos disponibles".
