El proyecto Nodo Berries en su segunda fase busca apoyar el fortalecimiento de la competitividad tecnológica, considerando dentro de las principales especies a abordar: frambuesas, arándanos, frutillas y moras. Por María Jesús Espinoza

El Nodo Tecnológico de Berries, proyecto financiado por Innova Chile de Corfo y ejecutado por INIA Raihuen, ha realizado varias acciones durante marzo y abril de 2009 para fortalecer a las pequeñas y medianas empresas productoras de berries en la Región del Maule.
A la fecha son más de 250 beneficiados directos, quienes gracias a las actividades de difusión y transferencia tecnológica desarrolladas por el Nodo Tecnológico de Berries, han visto como se fomenta la competitividad de su rubro. Considerando dentro de las principales especies a frambuesas, arándanos, frutillas y moras.
Las capacitaciones han abordado, entre otras temáticas, “Labores de Pre-Trasplante en el Cultivo de la Frutilla”, además de un taller de gestión y otro técnico sobre “Análisis del Mercado de los Berries” y “Riego y Nutrición en el Cultivo de Arándano”, respectivamente.
Asimismo, cabe destacar la participación del Nodo en Fital 2009, donde se presentó el seminario denominado “Innovación en la Industria de los Berries” al que asistieron agricultores, técnicos, profesionales y empresarios del rubro.
En total son varias actividades programadas durante el año en toda la Región del Maule, por ello los invitamos a formar parte de la Red del Nodo Tecnológico de Berries, proyecto que busca fortalecer el desarrollo del sector.
