En un acto convocado por el Consejo de la Cultura y de las Artes de la Región Arica-Parinacota –con motivo del 105 natalicio de Neruda- se expusieron los aportes del Premio Nobel y la importancia de que Pablo de Rokha tenga un sitial mas trascendente.

¡Qué lindo!...Reunidos estuvimos en un restaurante playero de Arica algunos poetas-estudiosos…al que concurrieron, como oyentes, diversos artistas de la palabra.
Participaron tres profesores de Literatura: Luis Araya Novoa, José Morales Salazar y Daniel Rojas Pachas, además de Bellamín Silva Carrasco, autodidacta nerudiano; Rodolfo Khan, figura central de la poesía nortina; Erna Aros, Gastón Herrera y el que escribe, bajo la batuta del interrogador Eduardo Ignacio y de Anita Labbé, sabios trabajadores de la cultura nortina- quienes analizaron parte mínima de la vida y obra de Pablo Neruda en el 105 aniversario de su natalicio.
Concordancias y discrepancias se plantearon en dicho encuentro.
Silva, admirador de Neruda, defendió a ultranza las alturas poéticas del autor del CANTO GENERAL.
El poeta Rodolfo Khan planteó su visión advirtiendo la grandeza creativa no sólo de Neruda, sino que de otros valores poéticos.
Daniel Rojas, al igual que Eduardo Ignacio, señalaron una crítica al poeta…dejando entrever, eso sí, ciertos aportes del Premio Nobel.
Rojas fue claro al exponer que la gran poesía existe antes y después de Neruda: explicación muy lógica.
Nosotros planteamos la necesidad de que Pablo de Rokha merecía iguales festejos que el poeta parralino, visión muy compartida por Rojas e Ignacio.
El mismo Daniel Rojas fue muy explícito en su exposición de nombres de otros grandes poetas chilenos, aunque a más de uno de nosotros nos hayan parecido intrascendentes algunos de los citados.
Rojas maneja muy bien la idea de la universalidad e historicidad de la poesía. De allí sus alcances a Ovidio y el Cantar de los Cantares.
El interrogador Eduardo Ignacio posee la facilidad de desplazarse de uno a otro lugar del mundo interrogativo a que todo gran poeta da origen. Y así lo hizo.
Anita Labbé habló de aquella “amistad desconocida” entre Neruda y de Rokha. Alguien dijo hace muchos años que los dos genios se disputaban el territorio de Chile. Válida y certera, por lo tanto, fue la exposición de la profesora.
Pablo Neruda, “endiosado” por muchos poetas y Pablo de Rokha, “admirado” por otros, son cumbres verbales poéticas de Chile que incitan al debate.
La exposición de estos creadores y estudiosos puede dar origen a una polémica.
Bien. No otra cosa se propuso el brillante conductor que es Eduardo Ignacio.
Una mesa que se planteó con alta sabiduría. Rojas, como maestro universitario y creador; Khan, como lúcido poeta; Silva, como autodidacta encandilado por Neruda, fueron grandes aportes.
Todo ello quedó de manifiesto en la mirada de los asistentes que se clavó –una y otra vez- en los expositores.
Y eso es lo importante. Producir el debate.
Este acto no fue sólo para alabar al poeta de los VEINTE POEMAS DE AMOR, sino que sirvió para saber que Pablo de Rokha también merece un espacio importante en nuestra lírica…
