Región del Maule logra Oro Y Plata en Juegos del Bicentenario

Javier Vásquez logró medalla oro al ganar los 50m mariposa y la atleta curicana Macarena Farías logró medalla de plata en los 150 metros.

Cinco finales se celebraron durante la segunda jornada del atletismo de los Juegos Nacionales Generación del Bicentenario desarrollada esta tarde en la pista del Estadio Antonio Rispoli Díaz de Punta Arenas, y en dos de ellas resultaron con medallas deportistas de nuestra región.
Fue así como en los 50 metros libres de la Natación, Javiera vásquez triunfó, llevándose la presea dorada de la especialidad. Los otros representantes maulinos en natación, Javiera Espinoza y Roberto Morales lograron el 4º lugar en 50m pecho y 50m mariposa respectivamente.
En tanto, la atleta curicana Macarena Farías se alzó con la presea de Plata al finalizar en segundo lugar en los 150 metros con 20,06 seg., siendo sólo superada por Liliana Plaza de Valparaíso, quien también había ganado los 80 metros, logrando un registro de 19 segundos 67 centésimas.
Las mujeres del Maule están sacando la cara en los juegos del Bicentenario.
