Todos agradecemos el rescate del carabinero Ricardo Hidalgo. Sin embargo, no podemos dejar de desear que ocurra otro milagro y Marcial Gutiérrez sea encontrado con vida.

El comandante de la Séptima zona Sur, Carlos Ross, comentó que el estado del carabinero Hidalgo es satisfactoria, y el traslado a Santiago se debe básicamente a que él y su señora, la carabinero Catalina Merino, deben recibir tratamiento psicológico, debido a los duros momentos que viveron durante estos días. Ambos fueron trasladados en un helicóptero de la Prefectura Aero Policial.
Al carabinero Ricardo Hidalgo se le practicarán varios exámenes entre ellos un scaner que busca descartar lesiones internas que podrían afectar la salud del carabinero rescatado.
EL OTRO LADO DE LA NOTICIA
Lamentablemente, hasta ahora no se ha logrado encontrar al otro carabinero desaparecido. Marcial Guitiérrez Flores fue arrastrado por las aguas del río Teno junto con su compañero de labores el martes en la noche.
La búsqueda es realizada por varios grupos de Carabineros de Curicó, profesionales del Grupo de Operaciones Especiales, GOPE, y reforzada por el helicóptero de la Prefectura Aero Policial. Sin embargo, durante esta mañana no se ha podido contar con la ayuda del helicóptero debido a las condiciones del tiempo, por lo que se espera que las condiciones mejores para poder reanudar la búscada desde el aire.
Las opreaciones de búsqueda se están centrando entre Tutuquén Alto y la costa de la provincia. Aunque ya han pasado tres días, sigo creyendo en los milagros. El panorama se ve difícil, no podemos darnos por vencidos y tenemos que seguir creyendo que un milagro podría volver a sorprendernos.
Como todos los curicanos, estamos preocupados por los resultodos de la búsqueda de Marcial Gutiérrez, por lo que los mantendremos informados de las novedades en torno a las operaciones de búsqueda.
En Curicó y creo que en muchas otras partes de Chile, se están siguiendo cadenas de oración para encontrar con vida, y aunque hay muy pocas probabilidades que esto suceda, no podemos dejar de creer.
