Comenzó el Festival de Viña del Mar

La obertura del Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar estuvo a cargo del grupo de baile de Claudia Miranda y Fernando Henríquez, posteriormente los conductores fueron presentados, Sergio Lagos y Tonka Tomicic, quien tuvo un destacable desempeño en su primera noche animando al “monstruo”.
La jornada musical la iniciaron los vascos de La Oreja de Van Gohg, quienes agradaron al público llevándose las antorchas de plata y oro.
Posteriormente se presentaron las cuatro primeras canciones en competencia internacional, fue el turno de España, Argentina, Canadá, Venezuela y Chile.
Luego Mayumana no logró encantar al público, presentándose sólo por 15 minutos en la Quinta Vergara.
La competencia folclórica fue bien recibida por el “monstruo”, que mostró respeto y entusiasmo frente a las presentaciones latinoamericanas.
Y para cerrar la noche se presentó Bacilos, anunciando que este es su último show en vivo. También fueron premiados con las antorchas de plata y oro, terminando con un muy buen pié su carrera musical.
Presentaciones de hoy
La noche de hoy se inicia con uno de los shows más esperados, el de Tom Jones, artista de basta trayectoria, que es sin duda la gran estrella de esta versión del festival.
Posteriormente el granerito Mario Guerrero, miembro del jurado folclórico, buscará deleitar al público con sus románticas canciones.
Y para finalizar la jornada, el grupo penquista Los Bunkers, llegará al escenario con varios premios a cuesta, con el reconocimiento de sus pares y de la crítica, y la adhesión de sus miles de seguidores.
