Después de la lluvia del lunes y desde ayer martes, en toda la Región las temperaturas han disminuido considerablemente, lo que ha producido nuevamente la preocupación por las personas en situación de calle.

Después de las lluvias que hubo durante todo lunes, el martes, la Región del Maule amaneció con un sol incipiente, pero con una sensación térmica algo desagradable. Es que el termómetro no superó los 8º C en la capital del Maule.
El problema no es sólo ese, sino que por lo menos durante todo lo que queda de semana y hasta el fin de semana, se registrarán temperaturas bajo cero en algunos sectores de nuestra Región.
Si bien, las temperaturas serán mayores que en la ola de frío anterior cuando estuvieron muy por debajo de los -5ºC, el dato no es menor, pues no están pronosticadas lluvias por lo menos para los próximos 15 días.
Aunque el sol, acompañará a algunas Provincias del Maule, las temperaturas máximas que se registrarán hasta el próximo domingo no superarán, en promedio, los 16ºC, mientras que la mínima bordeará los 2ºC.
En todo caso, habrá días en los cuales la temperatura descenderá de los 0ºC , como lo fue hoy y mañana en todas las Provincias del Maule con excepción de Cauquenes.
El repentino descenso de las temperaturas, nuevamente lleva a un cuestionamiento ¿qué pasa con las personas en situación de calle?
Durante todo el periodo de invierno, en especial en los momentos en que el frío ha sido más intenso, se han realizado campañas para ir en ayuda de las personas que viven en situación de calle.
Si bien, está medida es siempre celebrada por todos, es justo decir también que sería bueno realizar una política regional tendiente a prestar ayuda en todas las épocas del año a estas personas y no sólo cuando es políticamente rentable o socialmente bien visto.
Es de esperar que esta vez no vuelvan a morir de frío más personas, para que alguien haga algo al respecto.
